We collect the following data: email address (during registration), authentication data via third-party providers (Google, Twitch), overlay configurations and widget preferences, and anonymized usage data to improve the service.

Your data is used to: provide and maintain the service, personalize your experience, synchronize your overlays across devices, communicate important service updates, and improve our features.
3. Storage and Security
Your data is securely stored via Supabase (hosted on security-compliant servers). Overlay configuration data is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and optionally synced with the cloud. We use encryption to protect sensitive data.
4. Third-Party Services
Twools integrates with third-party services (Twitch, YouTube, Riot Games, Google). When you connect these services, their own privacy policies apply. We only access data necessary for the corresponding widgets to function and do not share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.
5. Cookies and Local Storage
Twools uses browser localStorage to save your overlay configurations and preferences. Essential cookies are used for authentication and session management. No advertising tracking cookies are used.
6. Your Rights
In accordance with GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, delete, and port your personal data. You can exercise these rights by contacting us or by deleting your account from the settings. You may also request a copy of all data we hold about you.
7. Data Retention
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, your personal data is deleted within 30 days. Anonymized usage data may be retained for statistical purposes.

We may update this privacy policy. Any significant changes will be communicated via email or through an in-app notification. The last update date is indicated at the top of this page.
