Twools is operated by TWOOLS, a French simplified joint-stock company (SAS), SIREN 911 061 133, registered address: 2 Esplanade de la Gare, 95110 Sannois, France. Sales and complaints: contact@twools.app. Support: support@twools.app. Share capital: €3,000. Company registry: 911 061 133 RCS Pontoise. VAT number: FR55911061133.

2. Scope and contractual documents
These terms govern online subscriptions to Twools Pro. The terms of use govern use of the service; these sales terms prevail for subscription and billing matters. The privacy policy explains personal data processing and does not constitute marketing consent.
Subscribers must have the legal capacity and authorisations required to enter this contract. A person subscribing for an organisation must be authorised to represent it. Mandatory consumer protections remain applicable.
3. Service and technical requirements
Twools lets you create an overlay, display it through a compatible browser source such as OBS, and control it live. Free includes 12 widget types with customisation and live control: counter, timer, text, social links, banner, Twitch chat, follower alert, Twitch subscription alert, League of Legends ranked display, League of Legends match history, Valorant rank and Valorant match history. Free overlays display the Twools watermark.
Pro includes all 28 widget types: the 12 Free widgets plus 16 additional types: random draw, Guess the answers, quiz, Twitch subscription goal, YouTube counter, now playing, football score, match timer, esports score, esports match panel, esports player statistics, poker hand, poker pot, community cards, poker player information and poker player action. Pro includes their creation, customisation and live control, as well as removal of the Twools watermark. Studio and team features are not sold through this checkout.
An account, Internet access and an up-to-date browser with JavaScript and local storage for the editor are required. Displaying an overlay requires compatible broadcasting software. The now playing, Valorant rank and Valorant match history widgets also require the Twools Buddy app, available for Windows 10 and 11 only: the now playing widget needs a music player that publishes the current track to Windows, Spotify being the tested player; the Valorant widgets need the Riot client open on the same PC and signed in to the Valorant account to display, of which Buddy reads only the rank and matches. Third-party integrations may require their own accounts and permissions. These dependencies do not remove TWOOLS’s statutory obligations.
Rights are synced after Stripe confirms the subscription. Refreshing may be necessary. Expiry of a trial, complimentary beta access or a subscription does not remove Pro widgets already authorised in an overlay that remains open; its watermark rights are also preserved for that opening. This access does not allow new Pro widgets to be added after expiry. Reloading or opening a new overlay applies the rights then available, including the historical beta rights described below. This continuity does not guarantee that third-party integrations work without an Internet connection.
4. Prices and billing cycle
At the launch rate, Pro costs €12.99 including tax per month or €119.90 including tax per year. The €9.99 monthly equivalent displayed for annual billing is rounded information: the annual price is charged in one payment, not monthly instalments. Stripe displays the total, currency, applicable taxes and next due date before confirmation.
Prices are in euros. Bank currency-conversion fees are independent of TWOOLS. No Studio plan or bespoke service is included. Later price changes do not affect a period already paid for. Changes applying to renewal require prior notice and the opportunity to cancel before they take effect, in accordance with applicable law.
Price guarantee for the beta cohort: a beta-cohort account that subscribes to Pro keeps the tax-inclusive price of its chosen billing cycle for as long as that subscription remains active without interruption, even if TWOOLS later raises its prices. The guarantee ends when the subscription actually ends or when the billing cycle is changed; any new subscription is then at the current price. A change in the applicable VAT rate may change the tax-inclusive amount.
5. 7-day Pro trial and complimentary beta access
An account that has never had the trial, has no subscription granting Pro access and is not part of the beta tester cohort receives 7 complimentary Pro days, with no card and no commitment, from the first time it opens the editor or, if earlier, the first time it opens the subscription checkout page. Only one trial is granted per account. The trial is not a subscription: on its own it never triggers a payment, and when it ends the account switches to Free.
Subscribing during the trial defers the first payment to its end. When the trial is about to end, three days from signup are offered instead; the exact date appears before confirmation. The chosen billing amount is then charged: €12.99 including tax for one month or €119.90 including tax for one year. Subscribing after the trial has ended is charged at signup.
Eligible beta testers receive 30 complimentary Pro days from the end of beta. This replaces the 7-day trial and does not stack with it. Subscribing during this period defers the first payment to its end. When the complimentary period is about to end, three days from signup are offered instead; the exact date appears before confirmation.
Complimentary beta access alone does not trigger a payment. Without a subscription granting Pro access afterwards, the account switches to Free. The trial, complimentary access and statutory withdrawal right are distinct.
Accounts in the beta cohort retain use, editing and live control of their Pro widget instances included in the server inventory established at the end of beta. Restoring a backup of those same instances on the same account preserves these rights. This exception is not a Pro subscription: the watermark still applies on Free. Creating or duplicating a Pro widget requires active Pro rights. Instances created after the end of beta, including during the 30 complimentary days, do not acquire these historical rights. Creations stored only on a device and absent from the server inventory do not automatically qualify for this exception.
6. Subscription, acceptance and payment
The customer chooses a billing cycle, reviews these terms and pricing, and opens Stripe Checkout. Details can be checked or corrected before confirmation. Stripe collects express acceptance through a checkbox and displays the payment obligation, immediate, or deferred during the trial or complimentary period.
The subscription starts upon confirmation in Stripe, including when payment is deferred. Payment is made by card, through Stripe; card numbers are entered with Stripe and are not stored by Twools. Customers must provide accurate billing and email details.
After signup, TWOOLS emails a contract confirmation (price, date of conclusion, any complimentary period, next due date, cancellation and withdrawal), together with a full copy of the accepted version of these terms, which includes the model withdrawal form. TWOOLS archives this version, its fingerprint and the acceptance date. Invoices are available in the billing portal.
The contract may be concluded in French or English. The language used is that of the interface at signup; the confirmation and the copy of these terms are provided in that language.
If a payment fails, Stripe notifies the customer by email and retries the charge; Pro access is maintained during these retries. If they remain unsuccessful, the subscription ends and the account returns to Free, subject to the historical rights described in section 5.
7. Duration, renewal and cancellation
The subscription renews automatically for the chosen billing cycle until cancelled. Renewal can be stopped through subscription management from the account. Customers need not delete their account or justify their decision.
Ordinary cancellation stops the next renewal. Once a paid monthly or annual period has started, the customer keeps Pro until that period ends, without an automatic refund for the remaining days. The end date appears before confirmation and in the account once synced. Cancelling before the announced date of a deferred first payment avoids that charge. Backups are not deleted solely because Pro access ends. Free widgets remain usable. Pro widgets without historical rights remain in backups, but using or editing them requires Pro rights; continuity for an already-open overlay is described in section 3 and beta exceptions in section 5. TWOOLS confirms receipt of the request and its effective date by email.
Outside withdrawal, statutory guarantees or other mandatory rights, stopping renewal does not give rise to a refund of the period already started. A request to delete the account first triggers immediate cancellation of the subscription, with no further charge; the current period is not refunded, except where the law provides otherwise. To keep Pro until the end of the period, the customer can stop renewal and request account deletion once the period has ended.
8. Right of withdrawal
Consumers have 14 days from conclusion of the service contract to withdraw without giving a reason. Statutory rules for calculating and extending deadlines apply. A deferred first payment does not restart this period.
To exercise this right, consumers notify their decision by an unambiguous statement, by email to contact@twools.app or by post to TWOOLS, 2 Esplanade de la Gare, 95110 Sannois, France, optionally using the model in section 9. They may also withdraw online, without logging in, using the “Withdraw from the contract” facility in the site footer and on the “My subscription” page, at https://twools.app/en/withdrawal. TWOOLS then promptly emails an acknowledgement stating the content of the declaration and the date and time it was received. Sending the declaration before the deadline is sufficient.
If the consumer withdraws, TWOOLS refunds all amounts paid under the contract, including a payment made during the withdrawal period at the end of a trial or complimentary period, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after being informed of the decision, using the original payment method unless another free method is expressly agreed. TWOOLS does not collect an express request for performance to begin before the withdrawal period ends: no amount is therefore due for the service supplied during that period (Article L. 221-25 of the French Consumer Code). Pro access ends when the withdrawal is processed.
Free trial days and complimentary beta days are never charged retroactively upon cancellation or withdrawal. Statutory withdrawal and refund rights apply independently of the ordinary cancellation policy described above.
9. Model withdrawal form
To TWOOLS, 2 Esplanade de la Gare, 95110 Sannois, France, contact@twools.app.
I hereby withdraw from my Twools Pro subscription concluded on: [date]. Consumer’s name: [name]. Consumer’s address: [address]. Account email or subscription reference: [reference]. Date: [date]. Consumer’s signature, only for notification on paper: [signature].
Use of this form is optional. Any clear statement of the intention to withdraw is sufficient.
10. Statutory guarantees, support and liability
Consumers benefit from statutory guarantees for digital content and services, including conformity throughout continuous supply. They may request conformity free of charge and, where the law provides, a price reduction or termination. Updates necessary to maintain conformity are provided as required by law.
Guarantee claims can be addressed to TWOOLS, 2 Esplanade de la Gare, 95110 Sannois, France, or support@twools.app. Business telephone: 01 83 84 96 94. These terms do not remove mandatory rights, remedies for failures attributable to TWOOLS, or legally available recourse.
11. Changes, suspension and ending the service
Service changes must respect the contract and applicable digital-service law. Changes adversely affecting access or use require the notices and remedies prescribed by law. Publishing new terms alone does not amount to retroactive acceptance by subscribers.
Suspension requires an objective reason, such as a security threat, unlawful use or non-payment, and must be proportionate. Customers are informed and may seek explanations or remedy the situation where possible; security emergencies may require immediate action. Financial consequences of interruption attributable to TWOOLS are handled according to applicable rights.
12. Data and contract retention
Account and billing information and Stripe references are processed to perform the contract, manage payments, meet accounting obligations and establish evidence of transactions. Stripe processes payments. The privacy policy explains recipients, retention, possible transfers and individual rights.
Deleting an account does not immediately erase records subject to statutory retention. Access to archived contract records can be requested at contact@twools.app, subject to proportionate identity checks.
13. Complaints and international customers
Complaints can be sent to contact@twools.app with the account or subscription reference and a description of the issue.
French law applies subject to mandatory protections available to consumers in their country of habitual residence. No exclusive French court jurisdiction is imposed on consumers. International availability depends on supported payment methods and markets; these terms do not promise availability in every country.
14. Subscription renewal
For the annual subscription, TWOOLS informs the customer by a dedicated email, no earlier than three months and no later than one month before the end of each annual period, of the option not to renew the subscription; this email states, in a prominent box, the deadline for non-renewal. Cancellation remains possible at any time from the account, as described in section 7.
Under Article L. 215-4 of the French Consumer Code, Articles L. 215-1 to L. 215-3 and L. 241-3 of that code are reproduced in full, in their authentic French version, in the box at the end of this section. An English translation is provided below for information only.
Article L. 215-1 (translation)
For service contracts concluded for a fixed term with a tacit renewal clause, the service provider shall inform the consumer in writing, by a dedicated named letter or email, no earlier than three months and no later than one month before the end of the period during which renewal may be rejected, of the option not to renew the contract concluded with a tacit renewal clause. This information, given in clear and comprehensible terms, shall state the deadline for non-renewal in a prominent box.
Where this information has not been sent in accordance with the first paragraph, the consumer may terminate the contract free of charge at any time from the renewal date.
In that case, advance payments made after the last renewal date or, for open-ended contracts, after the date on which the initial fixed-term contract was converted, shall be refunded within thirty days of the termination date, less the amounts corresponding to performance of the contract up to that date.
This article applies without prejudice to provisions that legally subject certain contracts to specific rules on consumer information.
By way of exception to the first paragraph of this article, for contracts for the supply of a television service within the meaning of Article 2 of Law No. 86-1067 of 30 September 1986 on freedom of communication and for contracts for the supply of on-demand audiovisual media services, the consumer may terminate the contract free of charge at any time from the first renewal if they move home or their tax household changes.
Article L. 215-1-1 (translation)
Where a contract was concluded electronically, or was concluded by other means and the trader, on the date of termination by the consumer, offers the consumer the possibility of concluding contracts electronically, termination shall be possible by that means.
To that end, the trader shall provide the consumer with a free facility allowing the consumer to carry out electronically the notification and steps necessary to terminate the contract. When the consumer gives notice of termination, the trader shall confirm receipt of the notification and inform the consumer, on a durable medium and within a reasonable time, of the date on which the contract ends and of the effects of termination.
A decree shall lay down, in particular, the technical arrangements to ensure identification of the consumer and easy, direct and permanent access to the facility mentioned in the second paragraph, such as how it is presented and used. It shall specify the information to be provided by the consumer.
Article L. 215-2 (translation)
The provisions of this chapter, with the exception of Article L. 215-1-1, do not apply to operators of drinking water and sanitation services.
Article L. 215-3 (translation)
The provisions of this chapter also apply to contracts concluded between traders and non-professionals.
Article L. 241-3 (translation)
Where the trader has not made the refund under the conditions laid down in Article L. 215-1, the amounts due shall bear interest at the statutory rate.
