The idea

Producing a live show like a TV broadcast takes a control room: Twools is one, built for a streamer working alone. The project is a resident of Le Tremplin, the Val Parisis incubator.

Where the product stands

Twools has been open to everyone since October 1, 2026. 12 of 28 widgets are included in the free plan, with the editor and the live control room. Twools Pro unlocks all 28 widgets and removes the watermark.

What Twools does

An overlay editor

You build your overlay on a blank canvas, widget by widget, from 28 widgets, then set colours, fonts, borders, animations and layouts. You then paste a single overlay link into your streaming software.

A control room

During the stream, you run your widgets from a phone, a tablet or a second screen: start a timer, add a point, ask the chat a question, show or hide a widget.

What Twools does not do

Twools does not switch your scenes, adjust your audio or start your stream: those controls stay in your streaming software. It is not a gallery of themes to download: every overlay is built in the editor. Twools is not affiliated with Twitch, YouTube or Riot Games.
