FAQ — Twitch Sub Alert

How does the alert detect new subs?

Connect your Twitch account in one click (official OAuth). Twools subscribes to Twitch events (EventSub) and the alert fires live — no bot, no webhook to configure.

Can I customize the alert style?

Yes: colors, fonts, borders, 28 presets and entry/exit animations. The alert shows the sub's username and tier, matched to the rest of your overlay.

Does the alert work if I close every Twools tab?

Alerts originate on your Twitch-connected control surface (Control Panel or editor), then display on the OBS overlay. Keep your Control Panel open while you stream — it's your production console anyway.

Does it work with Streamlabs or XSplit?

Yes, the alert lives in your Twools overlay, displayed by any Browser Source: OBS, Streamlabs, XSplit…
